Despite the fact that he has only recently celebrated his 31th birthday, Andreas Carlsson has enjoyed more success than most other songwriters can hope to achieve in a lifetime.
After beginning his career as a musician, Andreas decided in 1996 to focus on his skills as a songwriter. During this time, Denniz PoP invited him to join the world famous Cheiron team as a lyricist. Realizing immediate success as a writer, Andreas has deferred his aspirations to be an artist, although his voice can still be heard on many of his productions.

Among his first successes was “Until Time Is Through” with 5ive, which immediately shot to number 2 on the UK charts. Following this, Andreas began working on the “Millennium” album with the Backstreet Boys.
One of the many songs he co-wrote with Max Martin was the undeniable pop classic entitled, “I Want It That Way,” which reached number 1 all over the world and earned Andreas a Grammy nomination. “I Want It That Way” was also voted one of the 10 best pop songs of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Andreas continued to write, and the hits kept coming. His credits include, “Bye Bye Bye” and “It’s Gonna Be Me” with *NSYNC (both of which reached number 1 on the US charts), “Born To Make You Happy” with Britney Spears, “That’s The Way It Is” and “I’m Alive” with Celine Dion, and “Everyday” with Bon Jovi. Other artists who have recorded Andreas' songs include Westlife, Steps, Laura Pausini, Def Leppard, LeAnn Rimes, A1 and Garou.

As a writer, Andreas' work has sold over 100 million copies. The constant demand from leading international artists has ensured him a place among the quintessential songwriters in music today.

Andreas continues to compose songs together with Jake Schulze and Kristian Lundin at The Location Studios in Sweden. He also includes among his co-writers Desmond Child and Chris Braide. They have co-written “Invisible,” Clay Aiken's smash hit in the US. Andreas is represented by Deston Entertainment.
